I was a short 5K walk/run today before 11.30am, the temperature was a cool 13C, if I had gone that walk/run in the afternoon the temperature would have been 22C, so try to go out and run in the morning if possible. 😊 🏃

Try to go out when it's cooler if possible if not just go slow and make sure you're drinking even more water 😊
Well done 😁

Just make sure hydration is adequate in the 24hrs before your run. Replenish fluids straight after the run.
Wear sunblock and as few clothes as you can decently get away with.
Thanks everyone for the advice! I'm not much of a morning runner so I'm going to try to do my runs in the evening as it gets cooler and remember to drink plenty before I leave!

During the heatwave last year I wrapped a damp buff around my wrist and used it to wipe the sweat from my face. Wearing a hat is helpful too. shorts are cooler than capris - the 2 in 1 ones are great. 😎☀️
