is anyone else having this problem?? i find that it cuts out half way through and the only way to stop this from happening is to keep the screen on at all times. i do like to listen to spotify and noted that other users said that spotify isnt compatible with the app which is a real shame given that i need music to drive me along! i guess the radio will do but wondered if anyone has a solution to this glitch? x

Are you starting your music first?

I had issues until I noticed that the instructions are, start your music, then start the app.

It wasn't the app itself that I had some problems with, it was the music from Spotify or if I am listening to music from a radio station. In the case of Spotify, it kept going silent during a run after the app gave me instructions, after a run when Laura says 'that's all for today' the radio goes tat tat tat and is a bit distorted, I then have to stop the phone altogether and tap the 'restart' after that the music on radio or Spotify works OK.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If having issues with the app please contact the developers via Playstore, otherwise they will not know.

Somebody last week said they had downloaded an older version and that solved her problem.

Enjoy your journey.

I am not as knowledgeable as those who have replied. Just starting W5. I loaded the app just a few weeks ago, just like you. Tried to set it up with Sarah Millican and Spotify. Wasted week one, playing with those in new phone. Then downloaded the podcasts. Playable on MP3 player, iPod or phone. Did week one again. No trouble at all. Music is a bit Bash Crash, but Laura gives clear instructions and your light footfall has accompanying music too. Just one button to press and you are off, seamlessly. Do try it and enjoy becoming a runner.

Check your settings. I needed to change the app settings to allow it to keep running in the background. It was under battery saving

Tried Wk1 today. App kept cutting out but music (Spotify) continued. Have tried checking battery saver etc. But not sure how to get round this. Would be great if you find a solution that works. Will have to do Wk1 first session again
