I’ve just downloaded the app today.

Never been a runner, but getting married next year so want to look my best!

Feeling quite nervous/excited for the first run!

Any tips?

Water/no water?

Run around the block? Park?

Welcome! You've made a great choice in my opinion.

Tips:

Take it easy. Don't overdo it at any point. The object is to complete the time. Don't worry about speed or distance.

Take water if you need to.

Run around the block or the park or both.

You can do this. :-D

Hey! Welcome to C25K! You will not regret it! I was a newbie to running too and now am on week 9 and done 2 5Ks which I never thought I’d be able to do! I’m getting married to next year and it was also one of my reasons for doing it!

My personal tips are; make sure you have good running shoes (maybe go to a running shop where they will advise you), don’t try and run too fast - just a slow jog.

The 8 weeks have flown by for me, I’d say first two weeks were hardest but it’s not long before your body definitely starts to increase fitness!

Best of luck and enjoy!! X

Great for getting started, plenty water 7 days a week even more if the weather's warmer. As for where you want to run that's up to you . C25k is an amazing plan just go slow you can do this 😊😊

Welcome... you’ve made a life changing (and lengthening) decision.

Water... lots... not on the run though... sip water all day every day and you shouldn’t need any for a 30-60 minute run. Water you drank yesterday has a bigger impact than anything you drink pre run, or on the run, until you’re running a lot more than 5k.

Run at a nice comfortable pace and check that you can talk in full sentences as you go, if you can’t then slow down.

Where to run is up to you... I like parks and trails, others like pavements and urban landscape.

Find your happily pace and happy place. Enjoy your journey.
