Starting my first run Monday night! Feeling excited and nervous! Hoping I can do it. I had a baby 8 weeks and just feel like I need to do some exercise to shift the mum tum! Wish me luck! 😮😄

Good luck! It’ll be great to have a little bit of time for yourself amongst what I’m sure is a very busy time! Ive just started too & it’s going ok so far. The hardest part for me was actually just starting to run in public which I had never done before (except for a bus/train)! I got over that quickly though as no one really watches you! Have fun!

This is my little fear. Running in public haven't done it since school! Always worry people are laughing at me! Hopefully I will soon get over it!

Wow! You can go through childbirth, the pain of run one is less I think. You don’t need luck, but I’ll wish you luck anyway.

Welcome aboard, and keep on the forums, some very inspiring people on here to pick you up when you doubt yourself.

Good luck, and most of all have fun!

All the best with the couch to 5k. Just take it easy and congratulations on the new baby👌👍😀

Thanks everyone for your kind replies! Been to a party tonight and it just confirmed how vile I felt in my clothes and how shattered I was chasing after my 2 year old! Definitely just want to be a fitter mom to my children and be a good example and to be able to run and play with them without giving it a second thought. Roll on Monday night see how I get on! Will let you all know!
