Just completed the final run of week 8, this has been my favourite week so far, really enjoyed the longer runs. I’m off work for a few days so was able to run a different route, ran along the canal and it was the first time I’ve not been on tarmac, the change of scenery did me good I think. I was a little disheartened when a lady ran past me and I watched her stretch away into the distance so I stopped watching her and got on with doing my own thing 😂😂
Taylor Swift saved me when I was tiring at the end, Shake It Off was the perfect beat for my tired legs to keep going 😀
On to week 9, I know I’ve got another two minutes in these legs 😊

Well done Julia. I've fallen behind you by two runs now. Just did W8R1 this morning. Funny thing is, I thought I was going quite slowly but actually did a 10:06 mile which was a complete surprise (obvs). Anyway, I'm taking inspiration from your experiences so thank you. #keeprunning
Well done, don't worry about anyone else, everyone is different. Just think how far you have come since you started this journey. Surroundings sound lovely and, if you don't mind, I might copy having Taylor Swift for my Spotify playlist. Great choice!
