.... Run 1 completed! I ran for 28 minutes and I'm still breathing!! It was warm and very humid after a heavy rain shower earlier but set off slow and made it! Even managed a 'sprint' finish!! Legs a bit tired but feeling so positive!
Having two rest days now before run 2 on Thursday.

Exactly the same for me except I got caught in the storm. Tried to outrun it as I could see it coming over the sea....maybe a bit ambitious😄. Found aching legs the biggest issue rather than breathing etc. Go us
Well done! I completed this run tonight too, was absolutely dreading it because of the heat but left it until about 7pm and there was actually a nice cool breeze. Plus I’d drank gallons of water today in preparation because I was so worried about the run. Went really well in the end, can’t believe I’m running for 28 minutes! It’s an amazing feeling isn’t it? Good luck for next run to all week 8ers! 🏃🏻♀️
Well done Ang you've nearly cracked it. Week 7 and 8 was when I started to get excited about this programme and wanted the graduation badge etc. You've come a long way from those minute runs weeks ago, we all have, now really enjoy your next few runs. Your going to do it no probs.
Well done, it feels great doesn't it? I am doing the second WK8 run tonight, but my evening runs never seem as good as the morning ones so will have to see how it goes! Happy running 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
