CR8 getting back in the swing

So that was more like it - no more post holiday slog.

It’s fair to say as new runners we probably forget just how few miles we have clocked up by time we graduate and even consolidation runs take time to really clock up too, and whilst your fitness levels may not be impacted by taking a holiday as you should be good for two weeks off - it can play havoc with you to get your groove back. For me the change of venue and the over indulgence was quite an interruption to my new found fitness plan. For my next holiday less food and alcohol is key to maintaining I think ......

Over the nearly six years I have been running I cannot tell you the amount of little tweaks I have made to my lifestyle to suit my runs. Totally healthier for them as well. 😀. Happy running. Rfc x
