I have started to get an uncomfortable ache on the right side of my bottom/top of leg, it feels muscular. I'm not new to exercise as I walk at least 4 miles a day, nearly double that on a weekend and I swim. But I'm really worried about my run later as I don't want to be out of walking action over the weekend. Anyone else experienced this pain, anything I can do to prevent it?

It is so difficult to diagnose over the internet, it is possible it is just a little strain and will recover with rest. Maybe try putting some muscle rub or ibuprofen gel on it, if it doesn’t go and if it carries on ask your GP.
