Still wearing my sleeping splint during the night. Able to walk about 4-5K without any pain during and after. Going back for 4th session of acupuncture in 10 days time, no running until then though. I'm really hopeful that this is working, I so need my running fix. Happy running everyone and good luck to the newbies, there seems to be dozens joining every week. You may think its hard in the early days but keep at it, it does get easier I assure you.
I'm getting NO pain even when walking now - I ... - Couch to 5K
I'm getting NO pain even when walking now - I think I'm making progress!!
That's good news
Glad to hear things are improving, I bet you can't wait to get back out in your trainers.
Fingers crossed (and everything else) hopefully it won't be long before the trainers are dusted off and you're back out there with us
Hi OG
That's better news! Not long now. Hang in there. Gurgle some new running gear for your debut run
Great news. Hope you're back out and running very soon
Fingers crossed for you, Liz. Great to hear you are now pain-free when walking!
That is fantastic! That is one pain I never want back! Xx Best wishes xx
Glad that things are on the mend. I'm sure you'll be out there again before long. Take care though!
Great news! And great advice! Get better soon!
Fantastic news Oldgirl. Is the sinus improvement lasting too?
Speaking of new running shoes, I was chatting with one of my brothers earlier on this morning and he suggested the same thing 'new shoes' !! My reply was not until I know I can run again as the ASICS I like are expensive £90-£110 a pair. My hubby looked up from the book he was reading the expression was like a 'startled rabbit' I quickly added but can sometimes get them for about £60 in a good sale. He let out a long slow breath and went back to his book. His breathing is back to normal now thankfully, I really shouldn't do things like that to him!!!
Great news. Hopefully the last session will see you right. Fingers crossed you'll have your trainers on again soon,
Thats great news is it PF you have been suffering with? If so being able to walk is amazing, I'm running about 20k a week, yet my walk to and from work (1.5 miles) absolutely ruins my heels! I spend the next day limping around. Interesting to hear you've had acupuncture, hadn't even considered the idea! Thanks
