W8R1 my first failed run

I quit after 10 mins into my run....couldnt sort my breathing, just felt I couldnt carry on. Before I caught a bug last week, it was all going so well and I was continuing to improve. I struggled through my runs last week not being fully fit, but I didnt have to stop....so disappointed with myself.

Never a fail, that was a practice run, have a day off, drink plenty of water, run it a little slower than you did today today

Isn't that an awful fire in Paris.

You got out the door, so it’s not a fail. It’s a learning experience. 😨 Some runs are like that. Sounds like the germs are still running around looking to cause trouble, so give yourself a little break, drink lots of fluids, and take care. The run will wait.

Not long ago you couldn’t run 10 minutes. Celebrate what you did and have done, don’t dwell on what you didn’t do. Today’s run made you stronger than you were before it, so it’s not a fail, it’s a training session and practice run. Sounds like whatever was keeping you from being 100% has had a draining effect... maybe take an extra rest day to recharge the batteries.
