Since it’s Spring, here’s a cutesy tale of little animals. To the tune of “A Froggy Went A-courting”.

A froggy got up early and he did run,

He ran to Missy Mouse’s door,

But all he heard was Z-Z-Z,

Was sniggered at by Mr Toad,

But Uncle Rat cheered and slapped his thigh,

In praise of Froggy jogging by,

“Say, where will the runner’s breakfast be,

“A glass of water and a ba-na-nee.”

Off he went running round the lake,

Hi Twin 😊

My husband and I were singing the original song last week as we were kept awake every night by froggies courting for real. We thought they sounded like magpies at first and then we realised the time and had another think about it 😂

We are slowly 🚙heading north to catch the ferry and then up to North Yorks. Currently in the mountains to get used to cooler weather, but it's 20 at the moment 👙

Due to be 1 for my run in the morning though ⛄

Don't worry, the forecast is for warmer weather everywhere except near eastern coasts by Easter with the temperature as high as 21C in some places, especially in central and western areas, only in areas near the North Sea it's not just to be so warm.

O my goodness me ButtercupKid, I laughed my head off, that is so funny, especially that bit about 'froggy's' way and trying C25K, it rhymes, a frog wouldn't run a 5K, they would JUMP all the way, perhaps taking all day, perhaps quicker, another great poem from you BCK

Leo Metal Covers Vol 8 has a metal version of The Wheels on The Bus, he’s done loads of songs that should never be metal.

My all time favourite though is Bill Bailey’s tribute to Rammstein, Das Hokey Cokey.

Actually, that’s not so funny. Done properly, the Hokey Cokey is a great fitness routine. I used to lead kids in it at summer camp - tired them out for the rest of the morning 😂
