About to embark on the last W6 run. Have found the whole Couch to 5k a revelation and still can’t quite believe it’s happening! The last 2 runs (W6 1 and 2) have been absolutely knackering. Have a feeling it may be because I’m on holiday from work so eating and drinking more than usual. Any thoughts fellow runners?

For myself, I feel that what I eat and drink massively impacts my running. I’ve run three times this week and Mondays run was very difficult compared to Weds and Fridays runs which I put down to a weekend of beer and junk food!

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

The longer continuous runs require careful pacing and monotony can begin to take over, so find a distraction, whether it is in your own thought processes or in music or podcasts........ don't think about running.
Enjoy your journey.
I really felt it when I had pizza & wine then did a run later that day, now when I’m struggling to run I think well at least you don’t feel as bad as that day

I’m off to do the same run too but a bit put off because if the rain hate being cold and wet.
Good luck and I hope I finish it today 😬
