I’ve just completed Consolidation Run 8 (Wk 3) this morning and what a gorgeous start to the day...the run was not a great one but got out and did it !
Today I wore my new t shirt which is inspired by the “Jog on” book by Bella Mackie which is a very moving and heartwarming story, an independent small business teamed up with her to make this.
Now I just need one with RUNNER on !

Thanks, I’ve only managed to get out once since graduation CIA it’s been school holidays n it wasn’t a great run thanks to 3 bad nights. Got a couple of good nights under my belt now so I’m hoping to run tomorrow. I’m definitely a jogger at the moment lol 😂
Ahhhhh I have stalled after W9R1 as attempted 5k and it killed me. ( on Tuesday ) haven’t run since ...but los of great advice to slow down and go back to 30mins or even 28 if I have to - going for a run tomorrow!
Don’t give up ! Just run slowly for 30 minutes, you don’t need to reach 5k and a lot of people don’t....its the time that’s important not the distance. You only have 2 to go ! Good luck for your run tomorrow.
I went to London the week before last to hear Bella Mackie in conversation/reading from her book (that was the day fuelled by fizz and canapés!!).
I 😍 that woman - I gave a copy of her book to my daughter, who got so inspired she’s now on week 3 of C25K (and whom I’ve promised to give my signed copy, if she graduates!). My friend and I (both quite ancient!) told Bella that she’s inspired us to run... and that we were due to graduate from C25K that week... and she said she was ‘very proud’ of us both... 😂😊 x x
In other news, I’m after a WTF? t-shirt (Where’s the finish?!!!!). Happy running!! X
