Does anyone here find that the increase of exercise has affected their migraines? (either way, worse or better) it's taken me over 2 weeks to complete week 1 as my headaches got worse to the point I was scared to raise my blood pressure. I've never exercised and have struggled really hard even with week 1 and scared to progress to week 2 ATM xx I'd love to also hear about anyone who has gotten relief or their migraines have improved π€

Could it be your posture? I find if my neck and shoulders get stiff I tend to get a migraine. Why not just repeat week 1 again until your comfortable? Is increasing your blood pressure worrying you because it makes your head aches worse?
I agree about tensing your shoulder when running, it can cause headaches, I know they are not the same as migraines. It is possible you are nervous and a tension headache is causing problems, it could be you just need to keep repeating the run until your body calms down a little, if you still have troubles have a word with your GP, especially if you are concerned reference your blood pressure and running.
I think my posture is poor anyway as I've never ever ran in my life apart from at school π. I'll take the advice and keep repeating wk1 until I feel better π
I only get headaches during exercise if I'm stressed or not well hydrated. I can often "catch" it early with extra fluids but sometimes I'm too late but I can usually pinpoint why I got it.
Make sure you're getting plenty of fluids every day, not just run days. π
When I started exercising, going to the gym not running, I frequently got a migraine an hour so later. Fortunately, sumatripian dealt with most of them. After a couple of months this eased up. Though even after many years, exercse will occessionally induce an attack
