I am quietly looking forward to tomoro .... having repeated week 3 twice I moved on to week 4 run 1 last Friday and NEARLY did the full second 5 mins ..... tomoro I aim to do Week 4 run 1 all the way thru!

I figure that if I tell you all I’m gonna feel pretty silly if I don’t manage it!

Thank u both for asking .... away at the moment so not had chance to run but I’ll be back to it on tues for sure .... I have to admit I was struggling so much I was thinking of giving up but the longer I go not being able to run, the more it’s in my mind and I can’t wait to get out there again! I have even joined a couple of running club Facebook groups for a bit of encouragement etc

My brother ran his 202nd marathon at the weekend and my cousin is running the London Marathon next weekend ..... I know it will be a huge achievement for me to do 5k but they also knock my confidence a fair bit

Watch this space ... I will be back

Well done you for sticking with it! Ignore the pro runners in your family- you’re doing this for you, not them! Looking forward to your next post - no pressure!

Glad you’re ok. Keep at it, and never mind comparing with long established runners, this is your thing for you. Look forward to hearing how your next run goes.
