W6 completed - struggled with r3!!!

Last run of wk6 completed. Got to say I struggled. That was a bit jump of running w6/r2 which was 2X 10 mins of jogging to a full 25 minutes run with no break. I got stitches, even though I was jogging very slowly. I did stop briefly twice, to check how much running time I had left. Anyone else struggle with the leap from short intervals to full blown runs?

yep me...I felt exactly the same as you. It seems to hike up a lot. Did manage to hang on in there to the end but did W7R1 this morning again 25 mins and my legs were still weary from the previous one. Looks like it is 25mins then 30mins to the end now ahhhhh

Me too but this running technique changed everything for me - m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2...

(If I had a penny for every time I post this, I’d have many many many pennies!)

Well done, you did it.

It is not really much of a jump if you have been following the recommended pace for each interval.

In W6R2 you ran for 20 minutes and brisk walked for 3....... total moving 23minutes.

So there is only an actual two minute increase of moving time.

In W7 you will consolidate that 25 minutes with three runs of that duration.

Not what you're looking for?
