A lovely evening here in the midlands. Really struggled today and don’t mind admitting that for the first time since week 3 thought about walking. Thankfully kept going, anybody else struggle? Perhaps just one of those days.

Yes, I did the same run today and am afraid had to stop at 20 minutes, just ran out of energy. I'll try it again on Weds. Well done, you kept going!

I am definitely in the struggling camp at times. Rhoda 56 hasn’t failed either. I am still plodding/ jogging/ running the programme. I have followed the tips and been encouraged by this group. I had to slow after 5 weeks out travelling with minimal runs, slowed with virus and when my body shouted recover first slowed again. Yesterday I ran R1W8, a whole 28 mins, couldn’t believe at the half way bell I would get there and it was windy but gloriously sunny. I rejoice in our beautiful world and even pray at times, sometimes for others sometimes for stamina! Whatever gets you there and however long it takes. You are doing this, well done. I started October half term so I am slow, steady and determined. Enjoy your other runs this week.

Probably just one of those days. Everyone has bad runs sometimes, its just that as you grow in experience you are able to put them into perspective :)

I had one of those days too yesterday, I’m in the middle of week 6. Managed to keep going but was tough. You did really well; keeping going on the days when it is really hard is really impressive. I’m about to start on the runs that have no walks, so feeling a bit anxious , but will just take it one run at a time and if have to repeat so be it. I think I need to focus on being kind to myself, enjoying when it has gone well and being less harsh with myself when it doesn’t. Good luck XX

Yes, good perspective. I remember W6 as quite a “push on” week, so don’t get discouraged. It’s tough but doable. No rushing! Build stamina now to enjoy later. 🐢 And enjoy that most of us are getting a sunny week for a change. 🌞🏃🏼‍♀️

Yes I did the same run week 7 run 1 yesterday and I struggled more than any of my previous runs I walked for 1 minute on an incline as my knee was hurting and ran an extra 2 minutes at the end to make up for it, not even sure if this still counts? but I am determined to keep going on my 2nd run of week 7 tomorrow. Well done you for keep going!
