Well.. I ended up with Achilles Tendinitis, so pretty miserable after last Thursdays good start. but I don't want to give up, so briskly walked the route. It took me 35 minutes, but at least I did it. I will keep doing the exercises for my heel, hopefully it will ease up in a few days and I can get on with learning how to run/jog. I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck on week 1 for a few weeks.. But at least I am moving.

Check out the Japanese slow jogging movement video on youtube. It’s a low impact style of running designed to avoid injury. So when you’re better, try again but reeeaaallly sloooooowly! Like me!! I run this way and love it & can now run for 45 mins. No pain no injuries just loving to run. 4 months ago I couldn’t run for the bus! Hope you heal quickly and then embrace the 🐌!
