Thank yes I am pleased is fantastic in making me stick to this for sure can't let anyone down if my mum can have 2 operations and radiotherapy everyday I can do my best run 😊 even if it isn't very fast run I truly want to be able run it . The sponsors make you do it to the believe me and cause can't let anyone down lol x
Yes I know what you mean. Two weeks ago my daughter ran her first HM, two years after her kidney transplant. She raised over £2500 from friends and family. It was for a cancer related charity close to our family’s heart, because her Dad (Mr M). has been undergoing a range of very radical cancer treatments for the past three years. Unfortunately his cancer is incurable. The funds raised will be used to continue trials to find new treatments, help families etc.
My first R4L some years ago was in memory of my dad, and in support of a close friend who had just completed her own successful cancer treatment.
