Yayyy, Ive done it. 5k club event today, completed with a special medal. Fantastic programme and my clubs support has been second to none. Especially those hard weeks! This was also first run with no leg pain going around
Thanks to everyone on here for support and answering questions. I was a true couch to 5ker having done little exercise in 15 years and seeing an advert for the first club session which was starting in 2 hours time. I literally grabbed anything remotely weather proof to wear and donned my old worn out trainers and turned up. And the 9 weeks has flown by.
Ive joines the club now. Just have to think about next goal. Id really like to run 3 x 1hr a week. To get a good exercise grounding in place.
