Had just over a week off as lots of family issues cropped up and wasnt able to fit any runs in. Im so disappointed with myself as i don't finish my run the other day when i managed to finally do one. I could only manage 15 mins before giving up. But over the last 10-11 week managed to build up to 3o mins. So heart breaking, whats happened. I feel that i now need to repeat all my runs again. Has anyone else had the same problem???

Well you know that you can do it. Maybe you were just feeling a bit off. I think that it's time to try again. Tell yourself that you are going to do a minimum 20 minute steady jog, if you feel good at the end of 20 minutes keep going for 23 or 25 or 28 or 30 minutes. Go for it, pull on your lucky running pants and get out there !!😎😎

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

Yeah, sounds great. A nice easy, no pressure run. No expectations, just run.

Most people don't lose enough condition in two weeks to even notice.

Maybe your 15 minute run was a blip.

I can't believe that you really need to do the whole plan again.

How about just going out for a nice gentle jog, with no aim in mind and at an easy pace and see how far you get. Take pressure and expectations out of the equation.

Don't be discouraged and don't discount the ability and strength that you have built up with all your hard work.

I would go out with an open mind and run to enjoy it. - See where that takes you. One week off is not a problem at all - no need to beat yourself up. 😀
