Wow what a difference a couple of days make. I just managed the first 25 min run of wk7 and was blowing hard. Run 2 I got to 25mins much more easily and thought I have got some thing left in th tank and went to 30 mins with me going all out for the last minute. Very happy with 4.5k for 30 mins. Any thoughts on pushing the envelope for the couch to 5k program? I think it helped I ran with someone else for the first time today

Well done. Running with someone else does help a lot I find.

Pushing the envelope is not advised, the plan is designed the way it is to allow our bodies to adapt, and so avoid injury.

After you’ve graduated is the time to work on going faster or longer. And even then you should take things at a steady pace and not rush to do too much too soon.
