Managed to do W5R2 earlier this evening after yet another day spent with a poorly, grouchy, 4 month old and having had very little sleep for the past few weeks. So proud that I’ve got this far! Really enjoyed it and felt so good afterwards - it’s amazing what running can do for your mental health.
I’m finally starting to believe I can do this. I’ve heard so many times that it’s “all in the mind”, so I’m trying to be as positive as possible about the 20 minute run I’ve got coming up next...bring it on!

Well done you! Be proud and Loud! I can totally empathise having never been a runner and my second just turned 11 months so I’m feeling your sleep deprived pain! I just graduated today and can’t really believe I’m now a runner - feel like a fraud! You can do it and you will - the programme is amazing - trust in it and keep on the forum and all will be great, good luck for run 3! X
No I don’t - I don’t have a running buggy. I usually go as soon as my husband gets home from work. I’ve found it’s a good way to get some alone time although my three year old has started clinging to my leg as I’m trying to head out the door!
I agree it's a lovely break, sometimes when I'm struggling with the run I think about how lucky I am to get out of the house! Does that make me a bad mom?! 😂
Well done for sticking to it: it’s hard with little ones! Life is easier (in some respects!) now mine are older! Enjoy 5:3, take it slow and steady and you’ll be great: it was my favourite run!
