If it is “killing you”, slacken off your pace a bit so you can enjoy your running. 😄I tried running slower ( so it felt as if I could have gone faster if I chose to) and enjoyed it SO much more- and the time difference was not that much- which surprised me. Speed can be worked on later if you wish. Enjoyment, in my opinion, is much more important. 😉

Well done. But there's no reason to feel it's killing you. It's not a race: slow down a wee bit so you can enjoy it. Even the best athletes do 60-80% of their training at an easy pace.
