Stuck in week 2

The app crashed 3 times during my run and I didn't realize it untill I was panting for breath, I restated it and resumed but I lost the count. This is the second time this has happened. Does anybody know why?

Also, I live in an area where there are no flat streets. I come across steep roads and this made me extend the walking time before I start running, I repeated the whole run today to get it all right, same thing happened despite changing the path I usually follow. I feel like I've been stuck in week 2 forever. Any suggestions to fix this?

Thanks

One option is to find the podcast presentation which is more robust, being more straightforward (not so many satisfying bells and whistles and the accompanying music is often considered 'character forming')

I live on the edge of the Peak District (that's the view from my bed in my profile) I virtually never run from home - partly due to being on a killer hill but also because I like to cosset my joints and stay off road. Those hills though, they are great for fitness! The trick, if you can't really avoid them at this stage, is often to take much smaller steps - it might feel as if it is taking forever to make progress but that 'keeping going' is being reinforced all the time and you may not need to stop and walk (arguably if you can walk cf double over gasping on wobbling legs, you can still maintain a running motion) You can go round and round in circles if that works for you... we have had someone graduate running round and round her flat!

Where can I find the podcast presentations?

I think I'll keep trying without repeating the whole exercise because it's the worst part and it demotivates me when I'm not making progress in terms of home many runs I've achieved.

The programme is all about building the belief and habit of keeping going, which is why everyone has to have 3 full repetitions before moving on. Certainly tweak your route so it isn't quite such a challenge... but you can do this you know!

I had to do Week 1 somewhere between 12 and 18 times.... better that than polish off the programme in the 9 weeks and then go back to the couch...

Yes, regarding that person graduating running around her flat, must have felt dizzy after 30 minutes, then someone posted telling us that she ran around her garden, another person told us that she exercised running up and down stairs for half an hour, all of the above have certainly got the running bug.
