Just finished the first run of the final week! Took it nice and easy and covered just over 5k overall (so including walk time). Will gradually increase the pace over the week.

Happy running to all you lovely people! ❀️

Thanks Welsby, yes I’m very excited! I definitely won’t be doing 5k within the 30 mins by the final run but I am just aiming to slightly up the pace...if it feels ok to do so. I’ve read all the wonderful advice over the last couple of months and definitely don’t want to mess it up now by pushing too hard! The 5k in 30 mins will be my next goal! ❀️

That’s good to hear, I’m a week and a bit behind you having not run for years and I’m not interested in the 5k in30 yet just running for 30 injury free and smiling like a Cheshire Cat at the end is good enough for me xx good luck and enjoy your graduation run xx

Hey- how did you find it? I’ve just started week 5 and am really looking forward to being where you are now!

Hi Craig, it has been a wonderful journey and the support on this forum is fabulous! I used to run a lot years ago and then became quite ill and it took a number of years to recover. I had to forget everything I’d done before and just start running for the joy of it and not compare my fitness levels to what I had previously. C25K is such a sensible programme and has helped me enormously.

Huge congratulations for reaching week 5 and I wish you all the best for the rest! πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ
