Felt like ground hog day for a while there!! I successfully repeated W6R1 for 2 weeks to try and get back into shape having had the flu - so today was a new run but I’m really worried as Michael Johnston said it’s all longer runs from now on - I mean I don’t think I’m ready for that!! No more 3 minute walk breaks??? How is this possible??? 🤔

It’s possible because you’re awesome! Simple as that. Maybe you don’t see it yet, but you will. You did 20... you’ve repeated probably the trickiest run on the plan for 2 weeks... you’re more than ready for 25. Relax, nice slow start, into the happy pace and just run... you can do it... you’ll love it.

Use the stubborn to your advantage... get in that happy pace and refuse to stop!

I felt like that at same point but actually I prefer just running now I’ve got to W8. It’s less faff. You just find your comfortable pace. Speed is not the goal, moving is xx

Slow and steady and you are ready for anything at all.. just one foot in front of the other. If you are struggling them pull back a tad more! Well done you!

I was on week six runs 1 & 2 for about three weeks after Christmas but once I gathered the courage forweek three it was fine and I actually found it a bit easier than the walking/ running thing to just do the longer runs. So this morning I did a 42 minute actual snail gallop in between my 5 minute warm up and downs. Slow and steady as oldfloss says. I started this programme in October I love it and I never ever thought I’d say that about running so go you! You can do it
