Ok, so it’s been chucking it down most of the day here in dreary Manchester. Not gonna lie when I went out for my run was feeling quite smug thinking, I’ve chosen just the right time to run! No rain, slight breeze perfect!!
Not so...... About 5 minutes into my run the Hail stones started. My face and arms were absolutely whipped! My husband thought it was funny when I got in as I am like a drowned rat and he could hear the hailstones bouncing off the conservatory roof!!! 😩😂
However Week 8, Run 1 is done and I survived to tell the tale.............

Congratulations Kimbov on completing run 1 of week 8 in such beautiful and sunny weather in lovely Manchester, yes I understand your husbands thoughts of being funny regarding what you looked like when you arrived home, he was probably watching football with his feet up on the couch whilst you were braving the elements on your 28 minute run. 🏃 😊. Onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 8 when hopefully the weather will be better. 😊
Sorry for being a bit sarcastic regarding your run in the hail shower, I also was startled by a hail shower battering my window in the afternoon and was feeling very sorry for any runners out in it.
There’s been some weather today! I almost didn’t get home tonight. Very well done sticking at it, hail and wind would be my idea of hell while running. Always good to amuse the spouse too 😂
