Started this on or about the 10th January. Before starting I checked with the Dr and also had load of measurements done with my friend who is a Sports Physio. I'm 5'6", 67yrs old and my starting weight was 166.2lbs, I had a 34"waist and each thigh measured 20". I was pushing a size 16, I have 2 dodgy knees. I had not run for over 25yrs altho I do play golf and attend the gym . Last year due to various things (read bio on starting page) I gained over a stone in weight and fitness levels had dropped to an all time low.
Booked to see my friend early this morning (she's so busy I either went early out of hours or not at all !!)
Weight Now 154.1lbs
Bmi down from 27.0 to 25.0
Body fat down from 41.9% to 37.4%
Skeletal Muscle up from 33.8% to 36.5%
Fat free body weight up from 94.8% to 97.8%
Subcutaneous Fat down from 38.5 to 34.3
Visceral Fat down from 9% to 8%
Muscle Mass up from 89.2% to 91%
Bone mass up from 5.6% to5.8%
My resting heart rate was 61bmp its now 52bmp
I now have a 30" waist and each thigh measures 17.5" I now fit very comfortably into size 14. I can also now do squats and my knees are much stronger and I don't use the Neoprane supports as much as I did.
I eat healthily and cook from fresh all the time...always have done, but I now watch my portion sizes. I'm now back going to the gym properly, mainly for the weights aspect and my spinning class and I still play golf, there is still room for a bit more improvement and I will get there. However this site got me totally back on track and also gave me the confidence to get out and Jog again. The support and encouragement are second to non, to everyone one of you who have encouraged me and given me words of wisdom and support. THANK YOU.

Nearly forgot....My favourite Jeans are now too big !!!!..... shopping trip planned for weekend !!!
