Second 25min run of the programme completed! Covered 4km distance again.

I just need to get each km down a bit in order to achieve my goal of 5k in 30 mins.

Great running... don’t worry about that pace yet... close the plan out and then work on it, there are methods of varying runs up that will help... you can slow down to speed up then!

Well done.

5k in 30 minutes is an arbitrary target and not a requirement for C25K graduation.

You will get there.

Thank you! It’s the goal I have set for myself when it comes to the 5k run I have booked later this year. Something to work to after couch to 5k :)

Well done ! Your only one run behind me..I too complete it in 4km but I dont worry about distance it’s just finishing whilst still breathing ! 😂🏃‍♀️

Good job on that run 👍! Breaking 4K is pretty good 🙂. Your same stage as me did Week 7 Run 1 last night. Just managed to break 5k including the 10 minutes warm up and down walk, which I’m pleased about, but it’s got me thinking still a fair bit to go to do that with only 5 mins extra running excluding the warm up and down 🙁! The struggle continues 😂

We’ll get there! Just think back to the first run and how different it is now.

At the moment I’m only recording the run bit, not the warm ups/cool downs. I thought it would be a good way of seeing if my running pace is improving with each one. (So far it’s just consistent...)

Hey that’s even more impressive if you’ve got 4K running only👍! Now that I’ve passed 5k including the warm up / down I’m just going to track the running for the last couple of weeks! Hopefully I don’t get too big a shock at how much there’s still to do 🤦‍♂️! But I think I’m probably around th 4K mark too 🙂! Good luck for the next one anyway.

That’s interesting, I’ve just started only recording the running bits too. I’m on W8R1 and managed to do 4.2k in 28 mins. 5k still seems a distant dream 🤔

Your pretty close tho! Another 2 minutes running in the final week is going to take you just about there I would say 🙂! Good stuff!
