How far does everyone run in 25 mins?
25mins run: How far does everyone run in 25 mins? - Couch to 5K
25mins run
About 3k, I'm very slow, but I think thats fine
Everyone is different. Although this is called C25K it’s really ‘learn to run for 30 mins’ - not quite as catchy! Some of us (me!) slow runners are more like 3k at graduation. I’m two months post grad am running in the Japanese slow jogging movement style & increasing the durations of my runs - going for my first 45 min one tomorrow. We’ll see if that’s even 5k 🤣🤣🐌!
I’m on Week 7 and just reached 4K but I don’t worry about the distance it’s having a steady slow pace where I can breathe and finish (without requiring an ambulance) 😂
“Everyone” runs 0km because most folks are on the couch.
Us brave band of brothers and sisters run between 2km and 5km in 25 minutes. The exact distance depends upon age/weight/height/fitness/route and a whole bunch of factors.
But you Franny, are doing brilliantly because you can run for 25 minutes (and the exact distance is not important)
Slow is really good, well done! I graduated in January, I went out last week for 42 mins and managed 4.2k, so my 5K will probably be nearer 50-55 mins. It’s taken a while to come to terms with how slow I am, but now I just think faster than I was 6 months ago....sitting on the couch.
I got to 4K yesterday but that’s including the warm up and cool down walk
