Week 7 Run 2

Hi all,

I completed week 7 run 2 today. And i managed to break that 2 mile barrier. I was so surprised that I ran just over 2 miles. It felt like a really big achievement.

I made some changes to my running by bringing my arms down towards my hips rather that scrunched up high and it definitely felt that I was getting more oxygen in and my shoulders and back didn't hurt after the run.

I've been listening to the run, selfie, repeat podcasts which really helped in terms of giving me motivation, and changing my mindset everytime I felt like stopping and walking. It's amazing at how many excuses I made to persuade myself that I couldn't/wouldn't finish the run but today, I definitely felt like I moved out of my own way.

Well done to you on beating the 2 mile barrier Kajcho, you seem to have found a better technique for your running, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 7.
