Don't worry about the distance. The target is the time.😊

Your baseline is exactly that. Yours.

One thing is certain, once you graduate, you will start to get further and faster.

You're close to the finish line.

Enjoy the rest of the programme 🤩

On my W6R3 I did 2.5 miles at a pace of 13.12 minutes per mile.

So whilst Usain Bolt's achievements are safe, it's about stamina at this stage and completing longer runs without injury.

Just enjoy the feeling of running non-stop and knowing how your body is getting stronger and fitter x

Thank you for putting a time, I've asked previously on other posts but people tend to not post their time but just say it's not about speed but how how far you can go. It's always nice to compare to other people to see if you are on track or not 😊

You're welcome and I know what you mean.

It feels like you're asking about friends and colleagues salaries (everyone wonders but no-one wants to tell haha)

We aren't comparing, just getting an idea of where we are 😊

This version of C25K is purely duration based, as stated in the guide to the plan. There is no distance requirement.

As others have said just concentrate on running/jogging the required amount of time.🏃‍♂️

I completed week 6 run 3 a couple of days ago and suspect I might just have made 2 miles, I was completely astounded about running for 25 mins and have just focused on what others on here have said about building up speed and distances later on. I’d also forgotten about the time of day and ran past a secondary school at kicking out time - I must have looked reasonably okay because I didn’t hear any comments 😂 😂

We can do this RPend123 - remember the tortoise and hare fable.

Everyone manages a different distance, because many different factors are involved. Your height and the length of your stride; the terrain you run in; your physical fitness, recent nutrition, hydration, health and state of mind; the weather, particularly wind speed and direction; traffic, loose dogs, your shoes etc etc. That’s why comparisons are generally unhelpful. Some people are running 5k in week 6; I’m a graduate and I’ve yet to get past 3k. So don’t worry - relax and enjoy your journey x
