You know the mood indicator on the beginning and end of the couch25k app? At the end of this programme do we get to see these properly? I'd love to be able to see how my moods changed throughout the weeks I was running.

They are what they call emoji, they depend on how much you enjoy your runs, you press the very smiling ☺ one if you are pleased with a run, if the run is very 📛 bad press the emoji that looks like this😓😩I hope ALL your runs are ☺️😀these.

Ha...I know they are emoji and I understand what they're for but I wanted to know if there was a record kept to see on graduation. Sorry didn't explain myself very well.

I don’t think you can see them all though: I agree it would be interesting!

No, I only think you see it as you touch it but I see what you mean 😊😋😂😅

I don’t think so... but either way I’d recommend keeping a running journal. I’ve been tracking my runs and writing myself a private run report every single run and it really amuses myself to read them back, especially months later.

I love the idea of a journal. Unfortunately I'm nearly finished this programme but it would have been so helpful to write my thoughts down after every run.

It’s never too late to start... tips to your future self on how tough it was and any suspected reasons for this could be invaluable further down the line. Mine is all in my tracker, I do my cooldown, stretches and then lie with my feet up a wall/tree and type in everything the tracker doesn’t know. I learn a little each run, and some of my original learning from a few months ago wasn’t 100% correct, so when I see what I thought then it can amuse me, but the journal does show me what works for me, and I can’t get that in any running plan.
