Is it just me or is there a massive jump from week 3 to week 4 in terms of effort and knackeredness?! Blimey... phew.. that hurt! But I did it!! I actually did it!!! Half way round I realised I was self sabotaging with thoughts of “omg I can’t do this” or “it’s too hard” etc etc then I thought “what is actually going to stop me doing this?!” And the answer was just “my head” not my body, although I didn’t like the feel of the effort, there was no reason to actually stop... so carried on and finished it! I feel like a corner has been turned in my mind! Until Monday lost probs when I’m faced with it again 🤣
Keep runnin’ and happy Friday 🥰

Smashed it! Brilliant stuff - week 4 does feel like a big step up - I remember saying a lot ‘I’ve run for 5 minutes - twice’. And you have - which is amazing! You ignored the gremlins, stuck at it, and nailed it! You can do this - you are doing this! You’re becoming a runner!!
There are some weeks where it does seem to jump, I remember thinking "seriously? You're having a laugh right!" but stick with it, it really does work. When it gets to the longer continuous runs a lot of us slow it down until we're
confident we can do it. Good luck x
I was like "What the devil?!" because I was expecting 3 repetitions of 4 minutes which would be a moderate increase. It's complete madness that you almost double the amount of running from 9 minutes to 16 almost overnight. But I had a go and did manage to do it without stopping although it was touch and go several times during the 5 minute blocks.
