Week 7 run 1

Hi.

So I completed my Week 7 run 1 on Tuesday and managed to run for the whole 25 mins without stopping.

It feels like I sometimes am not lifting my legs up enough to get a good stride and feel like I drag my feet rather than lift them. Does anyone else have that?

Lots of us run slowly - short strides (search Japanese slow jogging movement on youtube and you’ll see a technique many of us use for low impact running). I found with a long stride I was running too fast and getting out of breath and a higher risk of injury. Going nice and slow meant I could focus on better technique too.

I’m the same as DiscoRunner and go slow with short strides (so more of a jog)...well done on 25 minutes ! Great feeling - finishing the run and the plan works.
