Those aches are a sign that you worked those legs, and that they’re recovering and strengthening... that walk tomorrow will help the process by pumping the blood into those muscles.

thanks for that. Good to know that its all part of the process.👌

They get better over time... a few months in I only get them if I push pace or distance... either way I know that I earned those aches... they’re my badge of honour.

That is correct UNM, yesterday as part of my early before breakfast exercises I did a few squats, not an exercise that I usually do alongside my planks, after breakfast, I went a walk and my legs were a bit sore, today the soreness is completely gone and I reran run 1 of week 2 for a bit of running practice when I went for a long walk along the River Forth Walkway at Stirling, no problems at all with my legs, perhaps those squats helped me a bit for my run today.

I hope you and Miss UNM are keeping well.

Make sure you stretch after every run as linked to in the guide to the plan.

I will be trying out some stretches later.

should I stretch before a session or is the walk enough.

As IT says, some stretching after your runs should help with the aches. Its a good ache though 😁👍🏼 well done

thanks for the advice. I'll try some stretches after run 🏃 2
