Just checking... When you start running again (the last time I ran seriously for a continued amount of time was back in 2013) is it normal for the legs and hips to ache deeply after running? Is this just my body adjusting once again?
At the moment, I'm on W2R3 (but repeated about 3 runs in W1) and totally loving it but I can feel why the rest day is important! I am stretching before and after and I'm not in pain... I guess general aches and pains are par for the course at the beginning?

I think this too! If you have run in the past, you might be expecting a bit more of your body then it's ready for just yet. Try easing off the speed a touch, while you build up your running strength.
Oh the hip pain! When I first started I was obviously using muscles that I never had before, the pain deep inside my hips was appalling! I started to think there may be something really wrong 😁
As time has gone on it’s eased, I generally only get outer hip pain now if I haven’t done good cool-down stretches.
Like everything about this programme, it gets better over time 😊
