W4r1 my aching limbs!!

I really really struggled with the leap from a 3 minute run to 5 today.

Anyone else found this week particularly hard?

I did it, and kept running, but it was a really effort and my legs feel awful now!

Did you go to fast? Remember slow and steady and you'll get through it

I think every step up is a challenge and we all find some of them hard... hey, you did it though... great job. Keep those legs loose and active tomorrow.

Will do! Yes I don’t think I could have gone much slower if I’d tried!!

Did my W4R1 yesterday, second 5 minute run legs were aching and my left hip oddly, but pushed through and felt great on the cool down. Today feeling good, but you're right, you do feel that step up from 3 to 5 minutes, hope R2/3 are easier, good luck :-)

We all felt the step up from 3 to 5mins, seems to be never ending but you’ll get there. Just keep it slow and steady with a nice easy breathing technique 🤗

I’m doing my W4R2 tonight, I’ve been struggling with muscle pain so I ordered some compression socks which I’ll use tonight (fingers crossed they work) but yes, I struggled with that transition too, main thing is we are doing it..!!! 💪💪💪💪

Thanks for your supportive comments! I had pneumonia two years ago which left me with some mild lung damage, and have asthma. I feel wheezy today with a bit of a cold so I think it was my body's way of saying slow down! Not running again now til Saturday so going to take it steady and see how I get on then!
