I must admit, I had been dreading this run, probably because I found week 7 really hard. For the first time (mainly because the downloading music thing has always flummoxed me) , I ran with music. Wow, it really made a difference, possibly because my laboured breathing and plodding footsteps were dulled somewhat. I didn’t choose running rhythms, just things I like to listen to, and before I knew it, Laura was telling me to slow down and finish. Now..... I am more worried about my cheesy music choices; didn’t realised quite how entrenched I was in 70’s, west coast , easy listening but heigh ho, whatever gets you through.
Week8run1......with music!!: I must admit, I had... - Couch to 5K
Week8run1......with music!!

Good on ya! As CSN&Y sang: “Carry On ...”🎶😉
I'm a huge fan of musical theatre so my playlist is made up of musical hits. Anyone listening would probably think I'm a bit nuts but hearing a bit of Hamilton, Legally Blonde, Heathers, etc. Helps me get through
Couldn’t cope without music! Amazing you got to Week 8 without - you will fly now !
Omg! Please tell me it gets easier..! Just completed run one, day one - thought I was going to die!!!
Ooh, we have the same taste in running music! I laughed when I found myself running to Copacabana and James Taylor today. And yes, not having to listen to your own wheezing has a tremendously positive effect
