Hi all...I haven’t actually posted on here before but I read different posts every day and they are so inspiring. I completed my 25 minute run on Saturday, with a gorgeous blue sky and the sun on my face and I really enjoyed it. I feel a lot more confident and a lot more like a (v. Slow) runner.
I’m looking forward to the last few weeks and actually signed up for park run yesterday...because I have read quite a few posts on here which encouraged me to do so. It may be a few more weeks until I actually do one as I need to run further distances as I’m not near 5k at the moment...but I know I shall get there...at some point! My other half bought me a pair of very nice running trainers yesterday...can’t wait to try them out tomorrow 😊
Anyway...thank you to you all...I love reading all of the posts and they have helped me along my journey so far.

Thank you so much 😊 I have read these when I first started but will have another look again now.
I am enjoying this journey sooo much 😊 never thought I would! Especially my very first minute run when I started a few weeks back!! It’s addictive and I’m loving it.
Well done! It's so nice when you feel like you're getting the hang of it This amazing weather makes it even better.
My local parkrun is full of mixed abilities and levels (and lovely people) - some almost fly round, some jog, some do walk/run intervals or some just walk all the way. When you're ready, I'd totally recommend it. I'm definitely still in the plodding category, but I actually look forward to going.
