Week 6 done and dusted!

Hi all...I haven’t actually posted on here before but I read different posts every day and they are so inspiring. I completed my 25 minute run on Saturday, with a gorgeous blue sky and the sun on my face and I really enjoyed it. I feel a lot more confident and a lot more like a (v. Slow) runner.

I’m looking forward to the last few weeks and actually signed up for park run yesterday...because I have read quite a few posts on here which encouraged me to do so. It may be a few more weeks until I actually do one as I need to run further distances as I’m not near 5k at the moment...but I know I shall get there...at some point! My other half bought me a pair of very nice running trainers yesterday...can’t wait to try them out tomorrow 😊

Anyway...thank you to you all...I love reading all of the posts and they have helped me along my journey so far.

Thank you so much 😊 I have read these when I first started but will have another look again now.

I am enjoying this journey sooo much 😊 never thought I would! Especially my very first minute run when I started a few weeks back!! It’s addictive and I’m loving it.

Well done! It's so nice when you feel like you're getting the hang of it :) This amazing weather makes it even better.

My local parkrun is full of mixed abilities and levels (and lovely people) - some almost fly round, some jog, some do walk/run intervals or some just walk all the way. When you're ready, I'd totally recommend it. I'm definitely still in the plodding category, but I actually look forward to going. :)
