Fingers crossed for you! We found some runs harder than others, I think that's how it goes sometimes!! Good luck though, let me know how you get on x

I'm a bit confused....

I thought " Gosh graduate to HM is ambitious!", but then thought, maybe the graduation was sometime ago, and you have been consolidating forever.

But looking at your posts you completed week 5 run 3, thirteen days ago!

How is this possible?

I decided to completely miss out weeks 6,7,8 and 9 and go straight to 5K (so graduated) which was a really bad idea so I've gone back and am officially on week 7 but my third run each week is a 5K because I can do it easily. I thought if I can do 5K in 6 weeks what's another 16??!! I may have been a bit enthusiastic but it will be fine!!

Don't over do it Rikki, it takes a long time to build up those running legs.

Stay healthy 😊

I've got until October so hopefully have given myself enough time and I'm running for Muscular Dystrophy which is a charity close to my heart, a good reason to go for it!

Thank you, I will be careful! :)

I’m on my last run today and looking for the next challenge and I’m already looking into the training for the half marathon ! It’s being fuelled by a friend of mine who runs full marathons on a regular basis, they’ve already suggested I could train for a full marathon later in the year but that seems a bridge to far 😮

Next step 10k surely?! Don’t build up too quickly! 10% rule!

No, I will build up gradually but hopefully by October I'll be there. If not, I'll be walking it!! :D

As long as you train you will be fine, I signed up for my first half and I hadn't done more than a park run.

A running club will help with training.

I'll find a local club and train with them. Thank you!
