Today I did my first 30 mins run....slowed the pace a tiny bit to ensure I didnโt struggle but I survived! Despite being in the grumpiest mood ever, feeling fat, not wanting to run and hating every minute of it...I still did it. Previously I would have just not even started, so pleased. This forum is a definite help to keep me motivated so thanks everyone!

30mins ๐๐๐

well done.
i did w4r2 this morning and the hardest part was getting out the door, once out it was great.
Usually I feel like that too, but today I still felt grumpy, but with hindsight at least I didnโt just give up ๐๐! Well done on getting out the door! My gym instructor told me last week that her sister (whoโs A marathon runner), always gives it ten mins on a run if sheโs not feeling in the mood, usually that ten mins is enough to keep you going as opposed to giving up. Iโm sticking to the ten minute rule now!

Massive well done..it's easy when you feel like it...when you don't..you're awesome!!!!

Great for that first 30 minute run , you did it despite everything and you're right the support on here is brilliant ๐๐

Congratulations and well done. I dragged myself out into a cold and windy dark evening at 8:55 pm. I didnโt want to do it either but was so happy I did when I came back in through the door.
Pushing yourself out the door is the hardest part. It also takes me about 10 mins to get into a stride, I donโt really like the first 10 mins. But itโs so worth running through it.
Well done again.

Good for you, what determination when you didnโt feel like it.๐๐
I have a โdonโt think, just goโ approach to getting out of the door and all my running gear in one drawer. That way I can hurl it on quickly, do a few dynamic warm up stretches & dash off without ever thinking โdo I want to...!โ ๐
Running- the best ever ungrumper!! ๐ Enjoy! ๐

Well done! It can be really hard, canโt it? A friend of mine described running as a โreverse hangoverโ - you feel dreadful before it, but amazing afterwards!
