W5R3 looks daunting!

I haven’t run for around 5 years and had two new hips in that time. A 20 min continuous run will be a real landmark.

Good luck! Remember: slow and steady is the key. I'm sure you can manage it if you've followed the program thus far.

Thanks! Slow and steady definitely seems to be the key. The speed can improve later

It's not daunting Teemack, as long as you have been following the program you will complete run 3 of week 5 without any problems whatsoever, just take it slow and steady 🏃 😊.

I hope your two new hips have helped you with your running on C25K.

Thanks Al. The hips are holding up well - it’s the rest of me now! It’s good to get into that exercise routine again, though.

It is a landmark, but also the shortest workout since W3.

You can do this.

It does looks scary... it isn’t. Keep that pace down and you’ll have a great time... enjoy.

Yes, it's a landmark, but I have to agree with the others that I didn't find it particularly difficult physically. It was more about self-belief than anything else. All the very best with it. :)

That is a real milestone! I’m almost looking forward to Week 6 now. 5k feels like a long way off when you’re running 8 mins at a time, but from 20 mins, it’s within touching distance.
