Week 9 run 2. And the 1st run i will have to redo. I just wasn't feeling it. Probably walked more than i ran. I had a bowl of cereal bwt an hour b4 i went. Also did a different route down a hill maybe i went too fast and tired myself early. Really disappointed in myself.

Hi it’s not a disaster you went out and did some exercise so that’s great. I have just finished week 9 myself and really struggled to keep going too so don’t be too hard on yourself

Thanks for this. But you get to a point don't you when you think its going to get easier. Then a bad run happens. And you can't understand why. But yes i got out and did a bit 😁

You know what would be a real disaster? If you hadn’t turned up... or if you hadn’t started this programme. So, while you’re disappointed, I’m really proud of you getting out there and putting the effort in again. Some runs suck... today was one of those for you... so take the time to look at how far you have come... throw that disappointment away and be damn proud of yourself. There’s always another run... and I bet it goes much smoother.

I always run on an empty stomach, if I can’t run until lunch then I fast for the morning, although I accept that may be a little extreme, and concentrate on drinking lots of water.

I think the general advice is allow two hours between eating and running. Your body finds it difficult to split concentration between the digestion and exercise. I found this difficult to believe when I started out but did one truly dreadful run when I only allowed an hour.

Just two runs left for you now, so you do know you can do it, relax and enjoy them.

Thanks for the tip. I never really thought bwt it till i got home. I've never run after eating b4. I usually run about 5 hours after. Hopefully it was that. And the next run will be better.
