Took me half an hour just to get out of bed this morning. Wet and stormy outside and I thought I’d give it a miss today. Then I took a quick look on here and saw that Bodg was just back drenched and triumphant after running 6:3. So I took the Black Dog out after all and would you believe it, we managed 9:1 ?!!
Photo shows the newly christened Setters Way, which has obligingly remained ice free over the past few weeks. Happy running, anyone else braving the weather today 😀

Congratulations ButtercupKid on running your first 30 minute run of week 9🏃, you and the Black Dog did well today although you say he wandered off into the trees at times, nice photo of part of your route, Setters Way looks a nice sheltered part of it, onwards and upwards to 9:2.👍🏃in a few days time.
Must confess I had a weepy moment when Sanjeev said I had done it. Not that I could hear a word he was saying in that wind, but the tone of voice was enough 😄
Canal would be nice and level ! Most of the park is still under ice just now but this path has stayed clear. We also have a disused railway line which has been turned into a walking route, so we’re well spoilt 😄
I ran along the Camel trail as usual and managed to avoid two downpours. However, the wind was against me both ways. How is this possible? To whom do I complain!
Maybe the weather felt that as you’d missed out on the rain, it was only fair to give you all the wind ? It was a kindness really. Bet it didn’t feel like one though 😂
Great to see that you’ve completed W9R1 and what a lovely spot to do it in! Just got back from my W2R3 n managed to miss out on the rain but not the wind. Excited for W3 now!
Whoop whoop 9.1 ❤️🏃🏼♀️💐. You are 2 runs away BCK. Just 2 runs!!!! And with that wind too. Just amazing 😉.
Yay! I’m really pleased for you. The podium is in sight! Think of the runs you did before as practice or training runs, so that your graduation run will be all the more awesome! Black Dogs don’t much like awesomeness. Anyone who can get to W9R1 is awesome. There are so many who have tried and failed, but you are doing it.
