Well done. Keep going and you may start to enjoy it. I’ definitely a running addict. I’ve never run before doing the C25k.

Keep going you can do it!

Well done 👍 everyone has to start somewhere, even the best runners. You can do it, slow & steady, you’ll be fine 🙌

Welcome. You can do this... you can lose 3 stones... you can bring that blood pressure down and get off any meds... you can do anything. Just keep putting yourself on the start line, run nice and slowly, and you’ll be amazed at what you can do. Enjoy the journey.

Course you can ! Have you organised some healthy eating too ? It’s the combo of eat better/move more that will help shift the weight. Enjoy your journey x

Doing Couch to 5K is great for you, but what helped me was doing a Water Fast ie drinking only water, for 3 days. This kick started my metabolism and there is no way I would have attempted to run before my body was healthy. The water fast helps your own body fat to be used for energy instead of sugar and carbohydrates and food in general.

However, it would be better for you to do this with the help of an empathetic medical practitioner. I have loads of information on it, but I'm not medically qualified and do not want to suggest something that you have not researched yourself.

Congratulations on starting your journey! I am of a similar weight, bp ok but could do with coming down a bit. I had massive reservations about starting C25K, it took me a year of procrastination and probably several years of stalling before then. Just take it easy every time you get out there, and be proud that you’ve done a run. I have found that by doing C25K it has prompted me to think about other health matters but I am taking it a step at a time. The weight loss community on here could be helpful for you as well as this one. Best of luck and use the forum to help with motivation. 🌈
