I have just completed run 1 of week 5 . I noticed the 2nd run jumps up to 8 minutes run! How was this for you?

Hi there. I’ve just completed week 5. You can do this! I found the last 2-3 mins of the first 8min run hard but the rest was better. Before you know it your coach will say 60 seconds left and you’ll be done. As always start slow and you can’t go too far wrong :)

No, the first workout of W5 you run for 15 minutes and brisk walk for 6 minutes.

Then W5R2 you run for 16 minutes and brisk walk for 5 minutes.

If you want a full breakdown of W5 then look here healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

It was fine - not too easy, but good to do. That was where I learned to trust the programme. I also learned I could, in fact, run slower and still be running! 😂
