Snow running not no running

Hi All, it’s great to see how many people in this community have been out running in the snow. I’ve just done Week 3 Run 3 in snowy Cassiobury Park, Watford.

Was daunted by the runs for week 4. Thought it was 3 mins then 6 mins, somehow 5 doesn’t sound so bad. Happy running everyone!

Thank you, pushed myself to go out and do the first week four run and cracked on through it. Where have you got to? Hope your running is going well.

My running is getting on fine although not doing much because of the icy conditions.I graduated last June as you will graduate in around 4 or 5 weeks time, perhaps around the middle of March, keep posting on your progress. 😊 🏃

Is it difficult to keep motivation after week 9? I’m great at following orders (instructions) the programme is great for me. Hopefully, the weather will start picking up

Once you complete C25K and graduate 🎓 there 6/30 minute consolidation runs before you think of what you want to do next. If you wish to go on to run a 10K there are many podcasts to train to, I don't think that there are apps like the C25K app that you can follow. I am quite happy to remain with 5K runs for the moment. 😊 🏃

That sounds good, I don’t think my body was built for 10k to be honest but I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying doing this. Enjoy your running!!

Hi! I live in the same area so we should do a park run together soon!

I was also worried pre week 4 but it’s fine! This programme is really well constructed

That sounds good. My partner sometimes does park run. I’ve just gone and fallen over this evening hopefully it’s not going to affect my running.

Pushed myself out of the door this morning so all’s well. Enjoy the park run in Hemel.
