I had been doing really well and surprised at how much I was enjoying running. Got to week three, just about to start week four then boom! Caught my foot walking off a curb and tore a tendon, swollen and bruised foot I haven't run for nearly a week and starting to feel a bit of cabin fever. As soon as I can I'll be running again but at the moment im just feeling a bit useless
Feeling down :(: I had been doing really well... - Couch to 5K
Feeling down :(
Ouch... I did my ankle in November but was fortunate enough to not fully tear anything. Keep the upper body work going to maintain fitness and get on any strengthening exercises you’re told you can do. Hope you’re back soon... but don’t rush it.
OUCH..but as UnfitNoMore says.. loads of upper body work and one leg exercises... or sitting exercises.. take a peek on You tube. The runs wait and you will be back out there too!
Wowser that look sore. Is hard to stay motivated in pain but keep going!
ooh that looks sore, the advice below looks really sound though, upper body strength keep in the workout mentality. Good luck!
Ouch, looks nasty. You definitely need to stay on the injury couch and rest that ankle, but definitely keep working on core and upper body. Hope it heels soon, but don't get out before it's ready.
Poor you- it must be really frustrating.
Ooooh, ouch! So sorry to hear this... make sure you're properly better before you carry on, but you can still keep in touch. Post updates on your recovery instead of on your runs. We'll still all be here.
